Program Information
The Dream Catcher Science Program takes the mystery out of science and helps encourage our children to be involved in engineering and science. The program gets everyone involved with fun and exciting hands-on activities that bridge the traditional classroom theories with experiential learning. This year students will have to the opportunity to select one of the four science/engineering classes offered. Additionally, the students will participate in an exciting tour and activity to be held at the Smithsonian affiliated National Museum of Nuclear Science & History.
There are no costs to parents and students to attend the program and all classroom materials are provided. Most classes are open to students entering grade 6 through 12. The in-class sessions will occur on June 11 and 18, 2011 at National American University. On June 25th, the students will meet at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History.
